The Royal College of Physicians Ireland will be hosting their Faculty of Paediatrics Autumn Conference 2021 on Friday, October 1st 2021 from 2pm to 5.30pm.
The conference will focus on child development and neurodisability and includes leading international speakers including Prof Peter Rosenbaum, Professor of Paediatrics, McMaster University Canada Research, Chair in Childhood Disability 2001-14 and Co-Founder of CanChild Centre for Childhood Disability Research, who will deliver the 25th Annual Ralph Counahan Memorial Lecture.
The conference will also see the presentation of the 4th Dr Kathleen Lynn Medal, Sir Henry Marsh Trainee Medal and two Excellence in Teaching Awards. Other speakers on the day will include:
- Dr Niamh Lagan – Progressive disability services; what paediatricians need to know
- Dr Veronica Kelly – Complex Feeding difficulties
- Dr Abigail Collins – Healthy Children their Screening and Surveillance Development Checks
- Dr Louise Baker – Register for Cerebral Palsy
