The Patient Effect

NEPTuNE scholar Andreea Pavel and our Public Patient representative Paul Ryan were delighted to participate in ‘The Patient Effect’, a production by Galway’s Ishka Films that was commissioned by the Galway Film Centre’s Science on Screen initiative.

Directed by Ishka’s Mia Mullarkey, the documentary highlights the value of public and patient involvement in research. The personal stories documented in this documentary include an overview of Paul’s own personal experience and a description of  his contribution to NEPTuNE’s research.

We are delighted to report that the film will have its world premiere screening at Pálás Cinema in Galway on Saturday, 16 November at 6pm.
