Down Syndrome Research Group aims to progress research that will provide improved outcomes for children who have been diagnosed with Down Syndrome.
DISCO Meetings
The Down Syndrome Research Group (DISCO) meets once a quarter. Our meetings consist of presentations from experts in a variety of disciplines who share their research in the field of Down Syndrome with the group.
Our most recent meeting took place on Thursday 15th June 2023. Professor Orla Franklin spoke to the group about ‘Understanding Congenital Heart Disease in Infants with Down Syndrome Recent contributions of Irish Researchers.’ The presentation can be viewed below.
