Paul Ryan

Paul is a board member of the INHA, an Irish charity operated by volunteers which aims to support premature babies and their families through increasing public awareness, education for families and healthcare professionals and the promotion of international best practices.  As a parent to Sophia who was born at 25 weeks gestation in 2012, he has been involved in several projects helping to raise public awareness of premature births as well as fundraising for charities that support families who have been affected by the birth of a premature baby.

Paul has represented patients in various research projects, including the HRB NEPTuNE programme, and enjoys gaining insight from these projects as much as he does providing a patient perspective to the researchers. As an engineer by profession, Paul is interested in the medical technology as well as the analysis methods being employed.
