Dr Caroline Ahearne

Caroline Ahearne is a Neonatal Specialist Registrar with a special interest in neonatal neurology. She graduated medicine from University College Dublin in 2010 and has gone on to complete a PhD with University College Cork in 2017. The subject of her PhD was the prediction and measurement of neurodevelopmental outcome in perinatal asphyxia. She was a clinical research fellow with the INFANT Centre in Cork from 2013 to 2016. She is currently undertaking higher specialist training in neonatology at the Coombe Women and Infants University Hospital, Dublin.
