Dr Jean Quigley

Jean Quigley is a Lecturer and Co-Director of the Infant and Child Research Laboratory in the School of Psychology in Trinity College Dublin. Her research focusses on language acquisition and development, with particular reference to early first language acquisition and to language development in the context of neurodevelopmental disorder, including Autism Spectrum Disorders. She has been funded by the Irish Research Council to conduct longitudinal research on language acquisition in early infancy with infant siblings of children with autism. She is also using the Growing up in Ireland study data to investigate risk and protective factors for early language development.
